Their comic timing was still on point, as if they never stopped working together. They shouted out each other's successes since the show's ending but, in true Modern Family style, immediately poked fun and brought folks back down to earth. Kind of just like a real family." ELIZABETH McLAUGHLIN, Actor Awards Committee Member "The 24th Annual SAG Awards was the first year I was a part of the producing team. I was immediately overwhelmed by everything I had to learn about the production and planning, let alone the prospect of being in a room with some of the actors I have loved throughout my life. I was particularly excited at one of the reunions planned for the show: Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis presenting together in tribute to the iconic Thelma & Louise, an all-time favorite of mine. "Walking into the showroom on the day, I was dazzled by the splendor of it all: a perfect representation of the monthslong work done by my colleagues, our production team and the SAG Awards staff. I weaved my way through the room, looking for my table, when I stopped short. There had to be a mistake — there's no way my seat was at the same table as Thelma and Louise, Geena and Susan, two women I have looked up to and admired since I was a little girl. I couldn't believe it. "I found a modicum of courage, introduced myself and sat down. I'll never forget that moment as I looked around the room, waiting for the show to begin, feeling so lucky to be seated at that table, in that room, and a part of this profession." WOODY SCHULTZ, Actor Awards Committee Member "We're always discussing potential film and television cast reunions for our show, and it's always so fun and special when it happens. We get to witness real affection, sometimes laced with inside jokes, among people who spent months, or even years, together, oen during formative periods of their careers, sharing in a moment of recognition and appreciation from the very community they belong to. These reunions can be poignant and emotional, nostalgic or just downright hilarious. "It's hard to pick just one, but a definite standout is from our 2022 show, when we saw a reunion of a reunion: Romy and Michele's High School Reunion to be specific. Dynamic duo Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis let their hair down on the 24th Annual SAG Awards red carpet. SHUTTERSTOCK/SAG AWARDS
