"They slipped right back into character, with Mira telling Lisa, 'You look cute.' 'I know, thanks. So do you, of course,' Kudrow responded. 'Do you think that this is the cutest anyone's ever looked at an awards show?' "They segued into an entire bit about wearing great ensembles while at the same time presenting an award to great ensembles and the genius of knowing that ensemble had two meanings. They even read the nominees off Post-it notes, hilariously referencing the office staple they lied about inventing in the film. Their friendship, chemistry and comic timing were as strong as ever, and they brought joy to me, the entire room and to every fan of the cult classic." ROB LATOUR/SHUTTERSTOCK From Mountaintops to Center Stage S AG-AFTRA President Sean Astin is no stranger to awards night. He, alongside his fellow castmates from The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003), took home The Actor ® for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture at the 10th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards in 2004, making him the first award winner to be later elected SAG-AFTRA president. Twenty years later, at the show's 30th anniversary, Samwise and Frodo — or, rather, Astin and fellow LOTR actor Elijah Wood — reunited onstage to present the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role. NINA WESTERVELT/SHUTTERSTOCK Romy and Michele's High School Reunion (1997) castmates Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino bring the laughs (and the Post-its!) to the 28th SAG Awards show.
