Save the Dates for these Meet the Nominees Events THEATRICAL FEATURE FILM SYMPOSIUM Saturday, February 7, 2026 For the 35th consecutive year, the DGA is pleased to present this unique opportunity to celebrate the craft of directing with the nominated Directors for the DGA Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Theatrical Feature Film. DGA audiences always revel in the passion, humor and quandaries faced by these talented fi lmmakers. In a moderated discussion, the nominees will again delve into the technical and creative processes of each nominee from pre-production to fi nal cut in a special celebration of craft and camaraderie. (The nominations for this category will be announced on Thursday, January 8, 2026.) Nominees nominees Jacques Audiard, Brady Corbet, Edward Berger, James Mangold and Sean Baker spoke with moderator Jeremy Kagan about the making of their fi lms during the 2025 event.
