HOW YOU CAN HELP
THREE TIPS FOR BEING A PRUDENT
HEALTHCARE CONSUMER:
With healthcare inflation forecast to persist for the foreseeable future, you can take some simple steps today that
not only help preserve the Health Plan's limited resources, but also save you money on out-of-pocket costs:
1. Use a network provider. To find them, go to www.dgaplans.org/networkproviders.
2. Shop around for the best price for planned services. Use Anthem's price estimator and comparison tools
available in the Anthem Blue Cross online portal (visit www.anthem.com/ca) and Sydney Health mobile app.
3. Compare prescription drug costs using online tools like the CVS Drug Cost and RxCompare (visit
www.caremark.com). Sometimes, you can get a lower price by NOT using your prescription drug benefits.

Atlanta Coordinating Committee
Webpage Now Online
The Atlanta Coordinating Committee (ATLCC) webpage is now
available in the Committees section of www.dga.org.
Established in June 2025, the ATLCC serves the more than 500 DGA members in the
Atlanta area and is responsible for informing them about DGA initiatives and priorities,
facilitating the exchange of DGA-related information and outreach among members, advancing professional opportunities
for members, and hosting DGA events in the Atlanta Area.
The ATLCC's first elections will take place in 2026. More information about the nominations process will be made available to
Atlanta-area members as the election period approaches. In the interim, the Committee is comprised of members appointed
by the DGA President.
