www.postmagazine.com 8 POST NOV/DEC 2025 BITS & PIECES FILMLIGHT COLOUR AWARDS RECOGNIZE TOP TALENT LONDON — The winners of the 2025 FilmLight Colour Awards (www.filmlightcolourawards.com) were an- nounced on November 16th at a dedicated ceremony at EnergaCameraImage in Poland. The ceremony was opened by cinematographer and 2025 jury president, Bradford Young, ASC, while film director and 2025 guest of honour Park Chan-wook sent his congratulations to the winners by video. "It's been an honour and a privilege to be the jury pres- ident for the fifth annual Colour Awards," says Young. "We've had such a talented and diverse jury, and seen some wonderful material through the process. It was great to bear witness to some of that material here at EnergaCameraImage to celebrate what is essentially the unsung warriors and heroes of our form — our colourists. They deserve so much attention and love for all the won- derful work that they do for us on the films that we love and watch. A huge congratulations to this year's winners, nominees and entrants. They are all winners." "This was one of the most difficult judging experiences I've ever had," notes Park Chan-wook. "I've participated in many film award juries, but there were so many out- standing works, each with such strong individuality, that ranking them felt nearly impossible. There were moments when I sighed and wondered if such a thing could even be done. I'm sure each of the judges came to their own unique conclusions, and those selected through this process truly deserve a big round of applause. They can be very proud of themselves." The Theatrical Feature winner was The Brutalist — graded by colorist Máté Ternyik. Disclaimer (Season 1), graded by Peter Doyle at PostWorks NY, won the TV Series/Episodic category. The Commercial Category honored Bluff Bounce's Prologue, which was graded by freelance colorist Franziska Heinemann. Bad Bunny's NuevaYol, graded by Dante Pasquinelli at Ethos Studio, won the Music Video category. The Spotlight award went to Connor Bailey at House Post for his work on Good Shot. And Marina Starke was honored in the Emerging Talent category for her work on Converse x Daily Paper's Homecoming. Bad Bunny's NuevaYol Good Shot Disclaimer Homecoming
