The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures has mounted its first retrospective focused on Production Design. The exhibit centers on the extraordinary collaboration of Production Designer Sarah Greenwood and Set Decorator Katie Spencer, spanning 25 years, over 30 TV and film projects, and garnering seven Oscar nominations. The immersive exhibition, which opened last May and runs through October 25, 2026, features work from many of the teams' projects, but focuses on three major films, Anna Karenina, Beauty and the Beast and Barbie. The rooms dedicated to these productions feature drawings, models and objects that explore each film's design. Clips from these projects, as well as many others the team have worked on, are featured throughout the exhibit. Both Greenwood and Spencer got their start in theater, and met while working on TV projects at the BBC. Early in their career, they began their long-standing collaboration B A C
