The "messy bun" is a gamble when it comes to continuity in any scenario, so my key (Anna Quinn) and I designed a look that was structured enough to duplicate every day but became messier as the story progressed. The soft pieces around her face acted as a barometer for us when it came time to break down continuity. Anna installed a combination of individual 808 Keratip and Smart Tab skin weft tape hair extensions from the Hair Shop to create the natural look of face-framing layers. She then razored the ends to give them a more lived-in feel, spraying them with Unite Texturiza Spray to keep the pieces from clumping together on set and finished with Brilliantine by Bumble and Bumble to give a "pointed" finish as well as shine.
