30 With over 25 years of deliver- ing impact, Event Audio Visual Services, Inc. (EAV) is a trusted name in the event production industry. Headquartered in Atlanta, this award-winning, full-service audiovisual company delivers cutting-edge AV pro- duction for live events, in-house services, and installa- tion solutions nationwide. At the helm is James D a n i e l , Founder and CEO, whose strategic fore- sight trans- formed EAV from a one- client startup into one of the nation's most respected audiovisual firms and one of the few Black-owned major AV com- panies operating nationally. "Every event we produce tells a story," says Daniel. "Our role is to bring that story to life. The Black meet- ing market is growing, and it is critical that they know they have a trusted AV partner who understands their mission and values them. AV can make or break an event. It is the foundation that helps to create the atmosphere and amplifies the message. AV done well provides a measurable return through brand perception, attendee satisfaction, and post-event engage- ment including social media." His executive team includes Tamara Burton, Chief Operating Officer, and Keisha Ellison, Director of Operations. Together with the broader leadership team, they drive operational excellence and strategic growth. Burton oversees the company's financial and strategic direction, while Ellison leads opera- tional success across EAV's diverse clientele. "We want Event Professionals, Exper- iential Firms, Association Leaders, and Corporations to know that EAV is here. Event strategists have huge responsibili- ties, and we are ready to partner and travel with them, providing peace of mind," says Burton. EAV has executed events across the country, including conferences, sporting events, trade shows, concerts, festivals, experiential activations, and corporate meetings. Services include full-scale audiovisual production covering lighting, sound, staging, LED video walls, video projection, and scenic design, along with in-house AV management for venues and installation solutions for permanent systems in corporate and hospitality spaces. In 2025, EAV earned an Allie Award for Best AV Production, one of the industry's highest honors. Often called the "Oscars of Events," the award recog- nizes creativity and technical excellence. EAV's win for Best Technical Production - Best Use of Lighting highlighted the company's mastery in AV. Building on its Atlanta roots, EAV has expanded westward, opening a sec- ond brick-and-mortar location in Las Vegas, making it one of the only Black- owned national AV companies with mul- tiple locations. The company also became a preferred AV partner for the National Center for Civil and Human Rights in Atlanta, aligning with EAV's mission to support organizations advanc- ing social justice and equity. Recently, EAV produced events rang- ing from the HollyRod Foundation's DesignCare in Los Angeles, hosted by Holly Robinson Peete and Rodney Peete and attended by Hollywood's elite, to the McDonald's HBCU Experiential Tour and Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens' Senior Ball, celebrating 5,000 seniors. Beyond business, EAV contributes to organizations like the Stewart Foundat- ion, which empowers Atlanta's youth. "Supporting organizations that uplift and inspire is part of who we are," says Ellison. As EAV continues to grow, Daniel and his team remain focused on deliver- ing superior experiences rooted in excel- lence, professionalism, and purpose.
