B M & T ••• September/October 2025 ••• www.blackmeetingsandtourism.com 13 ful touch. The gift bag itself was crafted by Sudara a certified B Corp dedicated to ending human trafficking and breaking cycles of generational slavery through economic empower- ment. Inside, attendees discovered Dawn of the Earth tea alongside a beautifully scented candle and indulgent bath bombs — a trio of treats designed to extend the sense of relaxation and care well beyond the event. FOOD, FUEL & BRAINDATES Healthy food and beverage options were an extension of the experience. Attendees could easily maintain, or even reignite, their healthy habits with menus thoughtfully crafted for diverse dietary needs. Creative botanical drinks added a refreshing twist, while an avocado bar included toppings rang- ing from roasted garlic, red peppers, sesame, and chia seeds to lobster and kimchi, with a chef on hand to assemble each per- sonalized creation to perfection. Meanwhile, braindates tackled real-world challenges such as driving meeting attendance, balancing work with personal life and event risk management. What made these group chats unique was attendees picked the topics that would be addressed using an app. "Our clients like peer-to-peer learning," said Wills. "They get a lot from talking to other planners who may be having similar issues and learning from each other." At CDX 2025, even the learning had a calming cadence — purpose-driven, insightful, and actionable. High-Energy Moments & High-Style Venues Las Vegas brought the energy, and Caesars Entertainment brought the wow. The opening night reception at Pinky's by Vanderpump at the Flamingo was an immersive experience inspired by this iconic property's vibrant legacy. The Art Deco-infused space dazzles with dramatic interiors, signature cocktails, and a sweeping terrace view of the Strip. Even here, wellness found its place. Guests created custom candles and aromatherapy blends. A crystal activation station helped attendees select stones aligned with their personal energy. The magic continued the final night. A chic dinner at Giada's was followed by a surprise afterparty at Caspian's, a hidden speakeasy tucked behind a polished caviar lounge. A DJ-led karaoke session brought the group together in a joyful end to the evening. "So many people got up to perform," said Wills. "It was a beautiful reminder of the fun." Another evening was spent at the F1 X Experience, a high- octane interactive venue that brings the iconic race to life. As attendees arrived back to Caesars Palace after the event, they were given bags complete with foot spray, aromatherapy oil, and sleep balm. "During our conference, it wasn't like here is your wellness, and let's move on. Activities and activations reappeared throughout," said Wills. The connections and inspiration sparked at the conference won't end when attendees arrive home. Thanks to a thought- ful postcard activation Caesars created, guests had the chance to jot down their personal intentions during the event and mail them to themselves. These postcards will arrive in their mailboxes, a tangible reminder of the experience and the commitments they made to themselves. MORE THAN A CONFERENCE — A MOVEMENT CDX 2025 didn't just redefine what a conference could be. It challenged assumptions about what's possible when well- ness, purpose, and professional connection come together in one of the world's most unexpected wellness destinations, Las Vegas. Caesars Palace didn't just host a meeting. It set the stage for a new era of events, where attendees leave not only more knowledgeable, but more grounded, energized, and inspired than when they arrived. The 604- room and suite transformation strengthens Tropicana's com- mitment to maintaining its status as a leading resort in Atlantic City while ushering in a new era of luxury and com- fort for its guests. As the largest hotel conference complex from Baltimore to Boston and nestled along the Atlantic City shoreline, the property's three extravagant seaside destinations — Caesars Atlantic City, Harrah's Atlantic City, and Tropicana Atlantic City — will ensure every guest feels like a VIP. This investment comes on the heels of a massive invest- ment in the Caesars Atlantic City Portfolio. In the past four years Caesars Entertainment invested around 400 million at its other Atlantic City properties. This included investments in 2,500 new guestroom product updates at Harrah's Resort, 600 guest rooms and suites in Caesars' Centurion and Ocean
