Among the game's many accomplishments, its adaptive and emotionally resonant music earned the 2025 MPSE Golden Reel Award for Outstanding Achievement in Music Editing – Game Audio. At the heart of that achievement lies a meticulous editorial process—one that blends nonlinear storytelling with dynamic musical systems, and balances iconic Star Wars motifs with fresh, original sounds. We caught up with audio director Simon Koudriavtsev MPSE to explore how his team tackled some of the creative and technical challenges.
