the crew built a replica of their apartment for their dog's experience. Set decorator Kellie Jo Tinney was able to custom-make chairs to match their original, sourcing the perfect vintage fabric. Graphic Designer Maybelle Pineda meticulously recreated a calendar from 2008 to match the original. Later in the episode, the story follows Nathan as he reenacts pivotal moments in the life of the pilot "Sully" Sullenberger who landed a plane in the Hudson in 2009. Starting from infancy on an oversized set that would make Nathan's height equal to an average 6-month-old baby. The Art Department settled on 1: 2.5 for the scale.
