An email will be sent to all eligible members outlining the Biennial National Convention Delegate nominations and election processes and will contain specific instructions regarding online voting; please carefully follow those instructions. As part of the Guild's ongoing efforts to serve members residing outside Los Angeles and New York, the DGA recently held a membership meeting in Honolulu, Hawaii on June 14. The meeting provided an opportunity for Hawaii-based members to network with others in the area, meet Assistant Executive Director Faith Santilla and hear what the Guild is doing to protect and extend their creative and economic rights. After welcoming the local members, Santilla reported on the Guild's recent activities, contractual gains, priorities, the state of production locally and internationally, and how they can get involved in their organization. The attendees were then invited to ask questions, share ideas and the gathering also discussed local legislative efforts to bring production back to the islands. photo: L-R Front Row: 2nd ADs Johnathon Lee Johnson, Dais Kasagawa, and Priscilla Stafford, 1st AD Keith C.A.
