The reports then turned to how we are already gearing up for our next round of negotiations with the studios to be led by negotiations committee Chair Jon Avnet, Vice Chair Karen Gaviola and the Guild's Chief Negotiator, DGA National Executive Director Russell Hollander. Noting that it is too early to address specific negotiations issues, or the timing of negotiations, Barclay and Belsey welcomed member input and announced that the DGA will be issuing a member survey this summer. They added that the Negotiations Committee will also reach across the councils and committees in the East and the West to understand the most important issues facing members in all categories, and work to negotiate the best deal possible for all.
