The Boom Box
Boom Box Post, founded by Kate Finan and Jeff Shiffman in 2014, has grown from
a vision shared by two supervising sound editors at Warner Bros. into a thriving
sound studio known for its innovative approach and commitment to diversity. The
journey began with a dream to create an open-source studio that not only shared
knowledge through an apprenticeship program but also through a weekly blog,
making expertise accessible to aspiring sound professionals worldwide.
