Todd Holland landed a role as an assistant on Stargate. From there, he spent over a decade cutting his teeth set designing and model making, before finally getting his Art Director card on Lemony Snicket: A Series of Unfortunate Events. S T U A R T B L AT T Award-winning Production Designer… if you count the Honor Camper plaque from Camp Rose Twig. Born in Philadelphia, but spending his first four years in Manhattan, Stuart was a real "Broadway baby" as his parents were both dancers in New York during the heyday of Broadway musicals, even sleeping in a trunk on the road while his parents toured. Moving M I C H A E L F I T Z G E R A L D is a California native who began his career by interning for Shakespeare Santa Cruz and regional theater companies. He continued his exploration of theater and Set Design at the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. His subsequent move into B I L L B O E S began his career in San Francisco on small commercials. While working as a Model Maker on The Nightmare Before Christmas, Bill met Production Designer Rick Heinrichs who asked him to assist designing the Halloween town set. He later promoted Boes to Assistant Art Director. Boes has received two ADG Awards for his work on A Series of Unfortunate Events and Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow. The latter receiving an Academy Award for Best to LA, he started his design career on over 30 small independent films in every genre imaginable. Stuart's work has been seen in TV shows such as Dollhouse, Trauma and The Event and films such as What's Cooking, Tales From the Hood and the recently released Lake George. His many film credits and over 450 hours of television have taken him all over the world, where the adventures on each project have helped create a unique approach to the design process, along with making many friends across the globe. He regularly enjoys speaking to design classes at USC and NYU, taking pride in giving opportunity to new talent. Stuart lives in South Pasadena with his wife Brenda, his ukulele and a problematic rescue dog, Poppy. the realm of feature films allowed him to nurture close collaborations with directors. Out of My Mind is Michael's third feature film with director Amber Sealey, after the Ted Bundy prison drama No Man of God (2021), starring Elijah Wood. Amber and Michael met at Shakespeare Santa Cruz as teenagers! Michael has a strong intuition for how to best bring a story to life, creating worlds that are visually authentic and in sync with the tone of each project. He is currently working on the documentary series People of the West, visualizing the rich and complex history of California's native peoples. In addition to his technical skills, A. Todd is known for his leadership and collaborative approach. His work strives to blend traditional craftsmanship with new, innovative digital tools, believing integrating both yields the most cohesive and elastic filmmaking process. He plays a key role in shaping the visual identity of projects, often overseeing large-scale builds and collaborating closely with directors, designers and artisans. His career has taken him across a wide spectrum of genres and projects; from films to television, commercials and music videos, as well as video game design. He currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife. Art Direction. Further Art Direction credits include Henry Selick's James and the Giant Peach and Coraline, as well as Alien Resurrection from visionary director Jean-Pierre Junet. His Production Design credits include Monkeybone, Scooby-Doo, Shortcomings, Fantastic Four, The Smurfs and the upcoming Killing Castro, based on the true-life attempt to assassinate Cuban dictator Fidel Castro in 1960. Inspired by groundbreaking filmmaker Ray Harryhausen, Boes turned his childhood love of building models in his family's garage into a robust, decades-long career. He credits his background in animation with an increased awareness in composition and an awareness how images can affect emotion, mood and thought.
