Brock Peters
"I could bemoan all the
barriers and difficulties I have
experienced and witnessed and
fought over the years, but I have
been extremely fortunate in
my life to find friends who have
gathered around me in the times
of greatest need or who are just
there to be helpful or to seek help
from me or to just be friends,"
said 27th recipient Peters. "Today
I know that my family is even
greater — you are all part of my
extended family."
