Actors Camryn Manheim in Los Angeles and Ossie Davis and Ruby Dee in New York are the first participants. The Business program is created, featuring discussion panels and workshops with industry leaders to educate SAG members on the business side of acting. The Casting Access program is created and is named the "Best Way to Meet Casting Directors" by Backstage magazine. Storyline becomes Storyline Online (storylineonline.net), a website that streams videos of well-known actors reading children's books aloud alongside animated illustrations. Storyline Online launches through a grant for five read- aloud videos. The SAG Foundation's Actors Center opens in Los Angeles. It includes a screening room, computer lab and classroom. It is the first professional facility and resource of its kind to provide free educational programs to support the careers of working actors. 2004 2002 2008 2001
