In a Dec. 16 SAG Awards press release, both Bell and SAG Awards Executive Producer Jon Brockett expressed their shared excitement over her return to "hallowed ground." "Thrilled to be hosting the SAG Awards again this year," said Bell. "I'm honored to be asked back and can't wait to share the evening with my fellow actors, doing what we do best … celebrating ourselves." "Kristen Bell's wit, warmth and charm make her the perfect fit for our show — a night celebrating actors and the outstanding performances of the year. Plus, everybody wants this," said Brockett. Bell is an actress, philanthropist, children's book author and producer known for her television and film roles, notably Veronica Mars, Gossip Girl, The Good Place, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Bad Moms and Disney's Frozen and Frozen 2. She currently stars in the highly acclaimed Netflix romantic comedy series Nobody Wants This, for which Bell has received an awards nomination. She serves as an executive producer and is expected to reprise her role as Joanne in the show's second season. There's no telling what will happen with Bell ringing in this year's show, but we'll be on the edge of our seats! Kristen Bell Returns to the SAG Awards ® Stage A Good Place — and Even Better Host!
