aria Callas was a legend, not just as a
performer, but as a woman with a story
to tell, and it was an honor to help bring
her story to life. This all began due to my wonderful
relationship with Angie (Angelina Jolie), her confidence
in my knowledge, experience, and cherished and
trusted techniques that have been around for a while.
When I was asked to do this project, I was excited,
and a bit nervous too. Operas have not been anything
I have had experience with, and transforming Angie
into Maria Callas, I did not take shortcuts to achieve
my desired goal.
