hat cities around the world have the largest concentration of working and aspiring sound professionals? Since the Tonebenders Sound Design Podcast started, the guests on the show have been from all over the map. From Norway to New Zealand, and from Mexico to Moscow, there is groundbreaking sound work being done everywhere. As an international member of the MPSE myself, based in Canada, I have always loved talking to sound people from other countries. Over the years, Tonebenders has hosted sound design meetups in North America (Toronto, Los Angeles, New York City, and Austin) with great turnouts. But how amazing would it be to have one in Europe? When I pitched the Motion Picture Sound Editors about co-sponsoring a sound design meetup in London, England, I really had no idea how it would go?
