30 M PS E . O R G let the viewer understand it, I needed sounds that were bold and immersive. Utilizing the software's layering capabilities, I combined explosions, debris sounds, and distant sirens. The XY Pad allowed me to modulate the intensity of the scene in real-time, syncing perfectly with the visual cuts. And the multitrack recording ability allowed me to reorganize the layers according to shot size, angle, or POV. b. Podcast Intro: Creating an Engaging Audio Identity Podcasts require sounds that are clear and captivating without overwhelming the listener. I used Krotos Studio Pro to design a unique intro for my own sci-fi podcast project. I've created a BG that serves as a pillow—a kind of pulsating music—that I was able to use as a very smooth transition between the intro VO and the main teaser. By blending subtle percussion and pulsating drone sounds with ambient tones and tweaking them using the XY Pads, I've created an audio signature that was both unique and memorable, with a touch of suspense. c. Mobile Game: Developing Interactive In-Game Sounds Mobile games present unique challenges due to hardware limitations. I needed sounds that were impactful yet optimized for performance. Krotos Studio Pro's efficient rendering ensured that the sound files were high-quality but with manageable sizes. You can create interactive sound effects that may enhance the gameplay experience and use just the part of the frequency spectrum needed, allowing us to downsize the overall file size. On top of all the features, there is a section called QuickFX, which allows us to use reverb, distance, and filter controlled by a single knob. While creating specific sounds or working in a well- known environment, the use of these settings could be helpful—in terms of workflow speed—but I haven't found those FX particularly useful, mostly the reverb, which I don't think is a good sounding convolution reverb. As no parameters can be accessed, just the WET/DRY mix, I'm constantly finding my way out to my DAW to process FX. With the ability to record Krotos Studio Pro's output in multitrack mode, the availability of my own beloved plug-ins inside the DAW, and the automation of parameters as needed make this section a no-go for me. The only effect I'm using from time to time is the filter parameter, to tune some sounds in a general manner in a very tight schedule workflow. That said, this section has a good amount of reverb IRs QuickFX presets
