Not only did the crew at this Austin, Texas
studio ratify their rst union contract with
a supermajority vote of 96%—this marks
TAG's rst successful unionization of an
animation studio in a right-to-work state.
Priorities for Powerhouse workers
included wage equality, job security, and
retirement benefits, and TAG and the
Negotiations Committee worked to tailor
a Collective Bargaining Agreement that
met the market conditions and business
model in Texas. This is yet another
victory in a growing line of TAG victories
that includes New York, Virginia, and
Puerto Rico.
