Learn more about the principles of adult education, or about how to create inclusive spaces for LGBTQ+ students. Deepen your understanding of historical inequities in public education, or learn more about the ESP Professional Growth Continuum. All of these courses can be used for re-certi cation with the Arizona Department of Education, and in some districts, you may be able to use them to add to base salary, apply them to 301/Pay for Performance requirements, or use them to supplement evaluation requirements. AEA Professional Growth Portal AEA Professional Growth Portal Each year, AEA o ers a series of virtual cohorts. ese one-hour, drop-in Zoom sessions, held monthly, are an opportunity for educators to talk, share ideas, and exchange resources. We focus in particular on subject areas and grade levels that are sometimes le out of district-level professional development o erings. Sessions are open to all who work with these students or content areas–you don't have to be a classroom teacher. You can attend as many sessions as you like; you need to register in advance or commit to attend every session! Cohorts are facilitated by a diverse group of union educators. is fall, we've had cohorts focused on math, pre-K and kindergarten, ne arts, and mental health professionals. Join us!
