"I find it fascinating that all her art concepts are expressed in the form of clothing or painting; they're always inspiring to me and have WOW moments as I look at her art pieces and ideas of concepts. For example, she recreated Maurice Ravel's 'Bolero' by sampling only sewing machine sounds and presented this piece in her solo art exhibition. Her work is full of unique creativity and passion!" In 2015, Menoh reformatted the concept of Les Sewing Sisters to make it a smaller performance art with just two members "presenting music made solely on the sewing machine noise and lyrics dealing with the clothing world." Mitome was excited when Menoh shared these ideas for the new formation of Les Sewing Sisters and asked her to join the band as a performer. Les Sewing Sisters has performed at venues El Rey, Scribble, Zebulon, and personal closets across Los Angeles and Japan. There is a documentary film on the Japanese tour in 2023 that is currently in post- production.
