"For over 100 years," said Jorge, "MPTF has been
constantly evolving and adapting to be there
when a crisis hits. We see firsthand individuals
and families who are struggling to meet their most basic
needs. To pay their rent or mortgage, to make
their next car payment, and quite frankly,
just to put food on the table.
Each day, we bear witness to the emotional and
psychological impact that the uncertainty of
working in this industry brings. But we also have
the privilege to see the incredible resiliency
and love of the cra that you all possess."
"We're very fortunate to have an incredible team of social
workers, and a dedicated campus staff who are committed to
providing compassionate care and assistance to working and
retired members of the industry."
For guiding the film and television workforce through industry
challenges and times of need, and its longtime commitment
to championing the wellness and dignity of entertainment
professionals, the LMGI is proud to present the MPTF with
this prestigious acknowledgment of their commitment to
"take care of our own."
