attention to detail, engineering acumen, and artistic sense made for a great Property Assistant. Russell moved up through the ranks of the department and became a Property Master. Russell's Property Master resumé, including The Flintstones, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, Planet of the Apes, and more than 20 films and series of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is well documented. His reputation as a design, engineering and manufacturing Property Master is stellar. The Russell Bobbitt outside work is less well known; he is a man of family and community. As Bobby Gould helped him out during difficult times, Russell dedicates his talents to helping others by doing the same. Russell volunteers and shares his famous props with Make-A-Wish Children, LA Unified School District, Pediatric Care Units, Trinity Studios' Black Male Initiative, Miami's Temple Beth Torah, A Better Way Ministries, Hillside Family Resource Center, and many others. He dedicates a large portion of his personal life to introducing joy and the possibilities of imagination to those who have not seen either in a while. For example, with the help of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he held a private screening of Iron Man 3 for a hospitalized child awaiting a heart transplant. As an elite Property Master, he works to elevate the spirits of and open up new worlds of possibilities to countless others. His humanitarian spirit extends to his personal life. A golf partner once told Russell of his special-needs child, "My son's best friend is Captain America. You should meet him!" Russell was able to share Captain America's shield with this boy; his absolute elation while holding the shield put everything into perspective. "To make one day special, one child smile, one family's burden momentarily lifted. This is what it is all about." Russell credits his grandfather for a valuable lesson in leadership.
