The state-of-the-art facility is projected to create 700 jobs, providing a boost to the industry and more opportunities for members. ● Los Angeles L.A. Local Chairs Attend Orientation L.A. Local committee chairs, co-chairs and vice chairs attend an in-person leadership orientation on April 25 at SAG-AFTRA Plaza. They learned about Local Committee guidelines and governance structure, and received tips and best practices on how to run committees. ● Union Heroes Honored for Their Service On June 8, the L.A. Local Board joined the L.A. Local membership in honoring SAG-AFTRA member Kitty Swink and former SAG President Alan Rosenberg with the Ralph Morgan Award at the annual membership meeting at the Sheraton Universal Hotel.
