major developers and publishers reducing costs and internal team sizes. This, combined with the increased feasibility of remote work, has led to a greater reliance on external teams, with more trust and responsibility placed on them. These factors have contributed to and accelerated the rise of "co-development," where development studios partner with external studios across various disciplines (programming, art, animation, audio, and full-stack development) in a more integrated and distributed model. In-house teams are now smaller, with game developers relying more on external audio production studios for integral roles. These studios are now expected to implement assets in audio middleware like Wwise, integrate them in the engine using Blueprints, C++, C#, and sometimes even use proprietary engines and tools. They also mix projects, fix bugs, optimize performance for different platforms, and design and build entire audio systems from scratch. Security Requirements ncreased access to game developer networks, projects, and codebases brings heightened cybersecurity risks. To mitigate these risks, external partners often undergo rigorous network security audits, including vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and policy reviews. While these measures add cost and technical overhead, they significantly enhance the security profile of external partners. By demonstrating I 28 M PS E . O R G
