DGA Director Development Initiative presents a Craft Workshop:
Plan and Prep: Organizing Your Set Days
An essential part of a Director's job is to plan and to be prepared. Prior
to being on set, Directors are already laying the groundwork to have a
productive on-set experience.
In this session, the panelists will discuss their approaches to pre-prep and prep, offer
planning tips, and share how their overall prep process helps them to make their
day. Members can expect to learn more about coming prepared to set, considering
which prep tools may be most effective for their needs, handling prep meetings, and
fostering collaboration.
The DDI Labs focus on education and career development for members interested in episodic television and is designed to
provide current information on the Director's craft delivered by experienced Episodic Television Directors.
Panelists will be listed on www.dga.org closer to the date of this event..
