THE ARTISAN SUMMER 2024 • 9 GUILD NEWS In the Green Room The make-up and hair crew in the MUAHS Guild Awards Green Room changes every year. It was established to give our visiting presenters the opportunity to get their make-up and hair done for free, making sure they are red carpet and stage-ready. As it turns out, not only do our guests love hanging out in our backstage, the Local 706ers who generously contribute their time have fun, too. Rather than just powdering someone's nose (who won't remember you tomorrow), this year, our crew spent time with true legends Dolph Lundgren, LeVar Burton, Martin Short, Marla Gibbs, Kate Linder (our good luck charm), among many others who pass through for final checks. For their efforts, Team Green Room also received special thank you gifts from our top sponsors: Ardell Lashes and Giovanni Eco Chic Beauty.
