IN 2017,
I DIDN'T THINK
ABOUT IT.
Fire! And devastation.
All the amazing roles of a
lifetime would never have
prepared me for this. Taxi
Driver, Mean Streets, The
Silence of the Lambs. I'd
lived the highs of a great
career under the lights.
Yet nothing held a candle
to everything—past, present
and future—consumed in a
flash. When a wild fire set
my life ablaze, I didn't think
about how ruin is something
no one plans. That day taught
me newfound respect for love,
compassion, caring, and the
incalculable need for an
organization like MPTF.
