longer available for shooting due to unforeseen circumstances. That was NOT a fun day for any of us! We were too far into the process to pick another model. Thankfully, after some searching, our picture vehicle coordinator found another Super Puma. I really don't know how he was able to find another helicopter so quickly, but he did! We were back on track. We had to make a few minor adjustments to our build, but it worked out beautifully. I'd involved the stunt team in the design process, right from the early days. There were major fight sequences that took place in this set and I wanted to make sure their requests were incorporated into the design. The main thing was having soft walls for the actors getting thrown up against the sides of the helicopter on the gimbal. The crew added custom padding to the walls and made them double the thickness of padding in a real helicopter. We also incorporated hooks and rings in the ceiling to help with their rig points.
