first queer Afro Latina female actor to win an
individual acting award. Troy Kotsur (CODA),
is the first deaf actor to win a SAG Award
in the Male Actor in a Supporting Role
category. CODA goes on to win Outstanding
Cast, the first time a motion picture made
up of deaf actors wins.
