"We are so proud of this very special show. Check it out! Additionally, we have just completed two pilots, The Hurt Unit and Judgement." After wrapping things up on Season 3 of the Amazon half- hour comedy Upload, the team of production sound mixer Millar Montgomery CAS, boom op Gilles Maillet, and assistant David Delgiglio have jumped on to Reginald the Vampire Season 2 for Syfy. Let the blood flow! CAS Associate member Lamps Lampadinha has been doing some interesting work for QCode Media, working on narrative immersive fiction podcasts. These very sound design-oriented pods are kind of like "radio drama 2.0," with everything mixed in Atmos. Fun stuff to check out! In mid-February, Thomas Curley CAS wrapped the 21st episode Season 2 of CSI: Vegas with Eugene Thompson and Mary Jo Deneney rounding out the crew. "We had several double-up days covered with help from many friends, which should continue next season. Shortly after we wrapped, I accomplished a goal I've been after for 21 years in this business—purchasing my first home! It's something I had almost done a few times in the past, but it's great to finally be here." Sean Byrnes CAS is in his second week of production on MaXXXine, the final installment of Ti West's horror trilogy following X. Production is scheduled to wrap at the end of May and Sean is looking forward to what comes next. Sean is working with a top-notch crew of Craig Dollinger on boom and Nick Ronzio on sound utility duties. Daniel Vasquez V. CAS recently finished mixing three films at Clap Studios with all supervised by Juanma Lopez and Daniel Giraldo. The first is an experimental documentary called Positive Negative. The Deepest Red explores a family perspective on social and political views and Back to Escalona is by multi-Grammy winner artist Carlos Vives. B E E N T H E R E D O N E T H AT T H E L I G H T E R S I D E With Beau Baker CAS mixing out of harm's way, Veronica Guidi- Louviere gets ready for a big romantic rain scene on Grey's Anatomy episode 20, Season 19. Re-recording mixer Daniel Vasquez V. CAS (2nd from right) with the supervising sound editors, director, and producer of The Deepest Red at Clap Studios. Greetings from Alien: Romulus.
