The comedy's win for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series at the 29th Annual SAG Awards made history: It was the first time two sitting SAG-AFTRA National Board members — Sheryl Lee Ralph and Lisa Ann Walter — received a SAG Award. Accepting the ensemble honor, Quinta Brunson spoke about how her castmates uplift and amplify her performance. "When I get to be a part of this ensemble, these people bring me back down to earth," she said. "They make me a better actor. They allow me to become an actress that I'm proud of."
