Terry Pitts
Being a member of IATSE 891 and 892 gives me a unique po-
sition. My passion for the arts, fashion, music, and history led
me to illustrating costumes for film and television for 16 years.
I became involved in film in Vancouver, Canada and joined
the CDG as an illustrator. Connecting with illustrators in both
countries has been tremendously inspiring. I worked with CDG
costume designer Catherine Adair on
The Mysterious Benedict
Society,
Season 1 which won her a Children's and Family
Emmy Award. As a freehand illustrator in graphite and water-
color, my looser sketch style is suited to period, contempo-
rary, and children's projects. I love to work on characters from
period to contemporary, and military to superheroes. Being
a dual-card holder has given me the opportunity to work
many aspects of the costume department which benefits
my illustration work.
