His career expanded from drawing comic books to working in animation, gaming and film. Tim has been serving on the Illustrators Council of Local 800 (formally 790) since 2008. His animation career included work from all the animation studios, most notably Gargoyles for Disney and the first twos seasons of The Simpsons. The Secret Origin of Face to Face Recently out of college I pursued comic books as a profession, or as short-term income realistically. You see, I was on the West Coast and at that time, almost all the publishers were not. I did get to meet many comics professionals through participating in science fiction and fantasy art shows and comic book conventions, including the huge (for the time) San Diego Comic-Con. That's where I met the Schanes brothers. They operated a San Diego book and comics distribution company called Pacific Comics and they were getting into creator owned He has storyboarded the films Terminator 2, Stargate, Thor, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, The Help and more recently Jurassic World, The Revenant, Independence Day: Resurgence, Justice League, Rampage and Harold and the Purple Crayon. After many years working on network TV series, Tim recently worked on the Disney +/Marvel shows Hawkeye and Secret Invasion. comic book publishing. Steve and Bill had an anthology comic titled Vanguard that printed work from the up-and-comers. There I wrote, drew and colored my own story Face to Face, and then went on to do a fantasy portfolio of single illustrations and a back up story for another of their comics, same as another newbie I met there named Dave Stevens. Things snowballed from there and I not only went on to work for many publishers (including the Big Two) but started a career in animation and live action storyboarding. I hope you enjoy this blast from the past
