Prior to his years in television, Steve worked as a Scenic Designer and ssociate Designer on roadway and Offroadway, as well as opera, regional theater. ssociate design credits with Tony alton on roadway include the Tony wardwinning Guys and Dolls, the Tonynominated Grand Hotel and The Will Rogers Follies, as well as the awardwinning play Six Degrees of Separation. e earned high critical praise for his roadway design of The Play's the Thing, the Offroadway production of Below the Belt and his production of Randy Newman's Harps and Angels, directed by erry aks at the Mark Taper Forum.
