A.-K. RIDDLER'S APARTMENT SEQUENCE BY JOSH SHEPPARD. Riddler's Apartment I love working in Chinlund's sets because they are always so thoughtfully designed that one can see many of the camera angles he and Matt envision for each beat of the script. The view out Riddler's windows included lines of sight to exterior sets or digital extensions for important story points. I thumbnailed Batman searching for clues in the iddler's apartment, then screen-grabbed off the Unreal cameras. Because I didn't have to draw the environment, I did quick paint-overs to place the characters in the scene. Along with my Storyboard Partners-In-Crime, Joel Venti, Tracey Wilson and Fae Corrigan, it was really gratifying to help Matt and the team tell this new Batman story, and to use such a sophisticated tool as Unreal to get the sequences as close as possible to the film in a reasonable timeframe. "To the Batmobile!" ADG Martinez steps into FG, watching as Batman crouches to examine the rug Martinez freaks, as evidence on the rug spills chaotically. From the bedrooom, as Batman walks towards us. Camera begins to reveal street names carved among the lines. Batman begins tugging up the rug! Carpet tacks Pop-Pop-Pop! A B C D E
