the laundromat. Backing fl ats in all three sets tied them together. onnecting many of the worlds was the laundromat V. ason had a vision, and it wasn't a vehicle one would fi nd at a picture vehicle rental spot. We scoured raigslist, Facebook Marketplace, and other independent sales platforms before fi nding the V, which we purchased with cash in a dicey part of town. Tony uiz from transpo handled the rest. Lia Burton was the Set Designer for the build of the interior laundromat V, which was built at the IS building location. We used parts from the actual V and chose to not grow its footprint by much. verything could be wild, but we still wanted it to feel cramped and chaotic. We put it on airbags for movement and shot some really weird scenes in it. As rumors of VID-19 started to become reality in the fi nal shoot days, and discussions of sourcing toilet paper and groceries were being murmured on set, we shot day 3 of 39 on March 13a Friday the 13th, for what it's worthjust as 2020 was growing heavy, and town was shutting down. The fi nal set was a full-length Hong ong alley behind a movie theater. It isn't featured as much in the edit, but it was a beautiful overhaul. Scenic plugs, graphics galore, set dec on top of set dec, neon for days, and natural rain (beyond our wet down) that brought everything to life on our last night shoot together. As a bonus, ason got to use his stunt- driving classes to drive a chicken truck through the set all night long, and fi nally got his SA card! Beyond this fi lm being one of the most wholesome, energetic, humorous, deeply gratifying, spiritual, and exhausting projects of our careers, the joy of sharing this fi lm together before the pandemic changed everything was an unexpected giftserendipitous and eternally special. The fi lm spent a very long time in post to make it absolutely perfect, and we couldn't be prouder of it. We hope you enjoy what shook out in the end as much as we enjoyed making it for you. It's a wild ride! ADG E. LAUNDRY DELIVERY RV (ALPHAVERSE). A VERY QUICK PICKUP SHOT DONE AFTER WRAP OF PRINCIPAL PHOTOGRAPHY. IT WAS A QUICK REDRESS OF THE ORIGINAL RV.
