It's a habit he never grew out of. Despite these hobbies consuming a considerable amount of his time and attention, he somehow managed to graduate from business school at LMU. In 2002, he left his desk at Sony Pictures to spend a year backpacking across Asia. When he returned to Los Angeles, he played drums in a local band while P.A.ing on commercials, working as a prop assistant for fashion shoots under Bill Doig, and interning at miniature effects company New Deal Studios. When the band broke up, Jason blended his personal and professional passions to become a Production Designer, starting with low-budget music videos, and transitioning into commercials and features, while working in tandem with brilliant collaborators like the Daniels and Hiro Murai. Jason now resides in Los Angeles with his longtime set decorator (and fiancée!) Kelsi Ephraim and an angry chihuahua named Roger. He spends his free time indulging in the same hobbies he's loved all along: 3D printing radio-controlled cars, working on real cars and occasionally working at the local stunt-driving school.
