PM: What's the best locations'
advice you've received?
JB: You don't just learn how to do this
job from the best people. You can also
learn how to do this job by watching
other people do it poorly. Learn from
other people's mistakes. Observing
poor performance was something
that bothered me until someone sat
me down and said to use all of that,
everything you observe as a learning
experience. Thanks for providing some
clarity there, Mike Fantasia!
PM: What are your tools of the trade?
What car or tech gadget or tool can't
you live without??
JB: My Ford Ranger truck is the one
tool I can't live without. It is one of
those things that you use so much,
you don't notice it until its gone. It
streamlines everything for me. When I
need to transport anything job-related,
I just throw it in the bed and forget
about it. The extra space provided is
invaluable vs a standard car. I shoot
with a Canon 6d camera.
PM: What made you decide to join
the LMGI?
JB: I was working on a show with Mike
Fantasia before he was the president
and his passion surrounding the Guild
was hard to ignore. The Guild held
an event at the Atlanta United soccer
teams training center. That is where I
joined.
