Results of the 2010 San Francisco International Wine Competition On behalf of all of us at THE TASTING PANEL, congrat- ulations to the winners of the 2010 San Francisco In- ternational Wine Competition, the largest and most prestigious international competition in America. This year, nearly 3,900 wines were entered from 1,290 winer- ies, representing 28 states and 27 foreign countries. Our 45 highly-qualifi ed judges convened at San Francisco’s luxurious Hotel Nikko from June 18 through 20 to spend the weekend swirling, sipping and spitting. The Competition is ably run by our excellent San Francis- co–based sta≠ and their many dedicated volunteers, under the leadership of Managing Director Chandler Moore and VP/ Chief Financial O∞ cer Carol Seibert. My thanks go out to ev- eryone involved, as well as to the many wineries who entered the judging, again making the Competition a rewarding experi- ence for all.
