etc., but legal put a stop to that fast, and I created a bunch of fake album covers, all as Nick's own recordings. I had fun coming up with titles and genres, Nick's smooth jazz, Nick's poetry album, etc., etc. There was a desire for Nick to have multiple entrances. (Actually six.) There are some really fun entrances that hopefully he will use. I have mirrors on the set. It plays into the idea that Nick is vain, which he is, but it really is very tongue in cheek. It's part of his schtick in the style of James Brown and other classic entertainers who would have a valet come out on stage to take their coat or show a mirror to them. The biggest mirror is 10-feet wide x 25-feet tall and is perpendicular to the cityscape. It works beautifully, it reects the city and makes it twice as wide. (Studio space in these old Manhattan studios is premium.) It works incredibly well, even when you are standing right there your eye is convinced that cityscape is 60-feet wide (it's only 30-feet). o reect Nick's love of music, I have various large-scale fake speaker cones around the set, (like speaker stacks at a concert), but I wanted E.
