From childhood, living near the Mississippi River in Arkansas, then later in Southern California, there was a fascination with the images a orded by botany and biology, and how the structure and function of the natural world occurred. Her career has branched into forensic art, law enforcement and psychology, as well as twenty-seven years as an Illustrator, Storyboard Artist and technical advisor for fi lm and television productions. Cline's longest a liation in entertainment has been in her capacity as a Storyboard Artist and technical advisor on the Fox series Bones, on which she worked for the entire 12-season run, logging 241 episodes. As both an artist and technical advisor on a show based on forensic science, Cline worked closely with the writers on every script, and collaborated with department heads to make sure the details remained true. Her responsibilities went beyond making sure things just looked right, and she would instruct the cast members on how to use the tools and vocabulary of their characters correctly. Cline's work as an Illustrator and Storyboard Artist include fi lms Total Recall, Beethoven, Hocus Pocus, The Flintstones, George of the Jungle, Deep Blue Sea, Panic Room, Red Dragon, Outbreak, Tombstone and Mulholland Falls. Television series include The X-Files, NCIS and Bones. As someone engaged in both art and science, Cline's career in fi lm and television production has allowed her to fi nd the ideal outlet for her passions, and she feels fortunate to have been a orded the opportunity to experience such varied professions.
