Your Board of Directors has been busy working on our next awards show. As you have probably heard, Ron Howard will be our Filmmaker of the Year and Anthony "Chic" Ciccolini is our Career Achievement recipient. We are thrilled to have both of these talented men accept their honors at this year's Golden Reel Awards. The awards will be virtual again, and we will be using the same amazing software to bring them to you as we did last year. This is very interactive and is the closest thing to an in-person experience that we could find. The schmoosefest will be in full swing, see all your friends and have group conversations with them in real time. I had a blast after last year's show and hung out late saying hello to everyone. We had our first in-person meetup since the pandemic. If you missed it, it was a walk around Balboa Park in the San Fernando Valley. It was outside and distanced, and we had so much fun seeing one another again. Keep an eye on your email for another one. A good time was had by all and we plan to do another. Remember to keep checking the MPSE web page (mpse.org) for events, including "Sound Advice" and others. Please, enjoy this quarter's Wavelength! Sincerely,
