In an era witnessing the demise of print media, it also has the most pages in the history of the journal. As the issue numbers cross over into the triple digits and the calendar rolls over to the new year, I want to express my appreciation to the contributors who are the foundation and lifeblood of every issue. The ten features in this issue are a great representation of the variety of projects and the scope of production PERSPECTIVE spotlights. Articles by designers from the East Coast, West Coast, Canada, ngland, and srael shooting fi lms and series in os Angeles, New York, Canada, Canada, Canada, Chicago, ermany, ondon, taly, and reece, highlighting some rt epartments that would fi t in a small compact car and others with scores of collaborators over multiple continents. Not all designers are comfortable translating their visual creations into a narrative framework. It can be daunting to not just show the work but also describe the thought and process behind it. One piece of occasionally useful advice I give to new contributors is to write about what was interesting to them on the proect. f you as a designer fi nd it interesting, an audience of fellow designers will also. I encourage the readers of the journal to also become contributors. At 100 issues that means PERSPECTIVE is in its 15th season. Not Wheel of Fortune territory, (see page 122) but still the continuing adventure series that must reliably deliver its stories of production challenges, triumphs and heartbreaks, and the writer's rooms are Art Departments around the world.
