finishing touch. e all had fun bringing a small taste of allas to the okia Theater for eeryone to enjoy. ther eamples include the ortland remote, which was unique because it needed two completely different sets that had to be changed oer in a single day between tape days. The first design represented downtown ortland with the ortland Theater, akes amous rawfish restaurant, the elcome to ortland sign i.e. and the Saint Johns Bridge. The second design included the mountains of Oregon complete with a forest, a foot waterfall, cabin and lake. oing on remotes with the show to so many different locations has proided the chance to design many different types of sets with both day and night looks. This remote required an outdoor stage and roof system to be added to an existing outdoor amphitheater. The show was able to use the amusement park as a backdrop and added fountains and video spheres to the lagoon to add a modern look to the stage design. nd of course, there were the four State of awaii remotes that took the show to both Waikiki Beach on Oahu, and the Hilton Waikoloa Village on the Big Island of Hawaii. These remotes were taped outdoors, which provided a chance to show off the beauty of the islands, the ast ariety of natie owers and plants, and the local history and culture. In addition to making the set look as fabulous as possible on and off the Sony ictures Studios lot, the rt epartment spearheads other milestone proects for the show. recent eample was in C D E F
