The industry might have averted an IATSE strike, COVID is still lingering, but hopefully starting to wane, and we look forward to a much-needed holiday break. Tracie Constable is running the o€ce like clockwork. She is sending out any nomination certificates and trophy plaques that were not distributed before. She is also getting people caught up on dues. Please note, we switched from calendar year billing to billing in the summer. Remember to keep checking the MPSE web page (mpse.org) for events including "Sound Advice" and other events. The MPSE election just took place. Thank you to everyone who voted. I am honored and humbled to have been entrusted with the organization for another two-year term. David Barber will go from being interim Secretary to serving as our o€cial Secretary for two years. We will join continuing O€cers, Steve Urban ( Vice President), Jeremy Gordon (Treasurer) and Christopher Reeves (Sergeant at Arms). New to the Board of Directors are Korey Pereira and Harry Snodgrass. Returning Board members include David Bondelevitch, Baylon Fonseca, Christina Horgan, Kevin Howard, Eric Marks, Stuart Morton and Solange Schwalbe. We look forward to working with these new and returning Board members and making the organization stronger while doing even more events for our members. Stay safe and enjoy this quarter's Wavelength!
