Vaughan Int'l Film Festival In September 2021, the Vaughan International Film Festival (VFF), an EIPMA member organization, hosted their festival in a drive-in format. The third weekend lineup, which ran from September 17-19, featured programming solely dedicated to showcasing high school student fi lms from across the Canadian province. Not only was this a VFF fi rst, but this unique programming was very distinctive from other fi lm festivals as student fi lms are rarely, if ever, presented to the public. The Vaughan Int'l Film Festival aims to provide an innovative platform to the fi lmmaker and fi lm enthusiast to off er a global stage for the art of storytelling. By bringing together industry, community, and education. At the September Film Festival, VFF honored EIPMA President Bernard Weiser with the Sandra Piccolo Industry Trailblazer Award. This award is given to an individual who dedicates their time toward fostering and creating opportunities for those embarking on a career in the fi lm industry.
